			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>Mediha Boran</em> wears many hats as an art director, designer, curator and gallerist.</p>
<p>An all round creative, she holds a BA in Industrial Design, MA in Design for Interactive Media and MA in Curating Contemporary Design. Her past research areas cover experience centered design  and ‘digital storytelling’ – including aspects of interactive storymaking, hypertexts, and narrative computer games. In her past practice she has managed projects dealing with the digital public space, including participation, experience and identity. She has won Geographical Association and e-well being awards for identifying and promoting the benefits of ICT use and was one of the pioneer developers in creating immersive interactive narratives through touch-screen environments.</p>
<p>As a Gallerist, she has exhibited works by <em>Alan Kitching, Ewan Clayton, Malcolm Garrett, Ian Gabb, Russell Mills, Phil Baines, Catherine Dixon, David Klein, Marielle Schram, Thurle Wright, Stuart Brown, Sook Ja Roh</em> and commissioned designers such as <em>Kerr | Noble, Tomato, V3, Why Not Associates, Nick Bell Design</em>, and <em>Vince Frost</em>. As part of her professional training she also collaborated with curatorial teams at the <em>Victoria and Albert Museum, British Museum</em> and <em>the London Design Museum </em>on a variety of projects. She also worked as a Curator of Portraits at the <a href="http://www.wimbledonmuseum.org.uk/">Museum of Wimbledon</a> and as a contributing editor to <a href="http://www.xamou-art.co.uk/"><a href="http://www.xamou-art.co.uk/">Xamou Art</a></a>.</p>
<p>She is available for freelance creative contracts and commission work.</p>
